Fusco extradition hearing - supporters mobilise

Sinn Fein has urged people to join a protest at the High Court in Dublin tomorrow morning (10:45am, Thursday) against the extradition of Angelo Fusco.

Mr Fusco (43) was arrested in County Kerry on Monday to face extradition to the Six Counties on charges of killing an SAS captain in Belfast 20 years ago.

Kerry County Councillor and Ard Chomhairle member Martin Ferris said:

``This is an issue of concern to everyone across the political spectrum perturbed by the indecent haste by certain agencies to extradite Angelo Fusco in clear breach of the spirit and the terms of the Good Friday Agreement.''

The protest will begin at the Four Courts building at 10:45am.
