Dublin Bus Nitelink extension welcomed Minister must move on DART

Sinn Fein has welcomed the announcement by Dublin Bus that it is to extend its Nitelink service to six nights a week all year round.

South Dublin County Councillor Seán Crowe said:

``Dublin Bus comes in for some stick over its services so it should be congratulated on initiatives that improve public transport and make it more user friendly.''

Cllr Crowe urged Public Enterprise Minister Mary O'Rourke to speed up the extension of the DART light rail service.  He said:

``The extension of the DART will also help make travel across Dublin a lot easier and reduce road congestion and traffic gridlock.''  ENDS
