Right to appeal deportation

Dublin Sinn Fein chairperson and candidate for Dublin South East, Daithí Doolan spoke this morning after a protest rally outside the Fourcourts in Dublin.

``I welcome this decision to allow the two men facing deportation 21 days in which to appeal. I hope the court will behave humanely towards the Czech and Nigerian men and allow them to stay here with their families. I strongly urge the government and the court to set a precedent in their atitude towarde refugees and asylum seekers when this appeal is heard''
