Sinn Fein MP visits Dublin West

Sinn Fein's MP for Fermanagh/South Tyrone, Michelle Gildernew, joined party candidate for Dublin West, Mary Lou McDonald, on the campaign trail.

Ms. Gildernew visited local childcare and youth projects in the Blanchardstown area.

``A lot of great work is being done in the community'' said Ms Gildernew, ``but it is clear that greater investment is needed. The community sector provides valuable services and must be supported in their work''.

``Some community projects have plans to develop and they need finances to do so. We in Sinn Fein will do all in our power to assist them I securing these funds'', declared Ms. Gildernew. ENDS
