Martin McGuinness meets with Richard Haas

Sinn Fein MP for Mid Ulster and Minister for Education Martin McGuinness, who is in Washington for a series of meetings on education, described yesterday's meeting with Ambassador Richard Haas, President Bush's advisor on Ireland as very worthwhile.

Mr. McGuinness also spoke with Senators Kennedy and Dodd and will today (Thursday 18th) meet with Senator Hillary Clinton in Washington.
