``The factory workers have just left the factory floor in absolute frustration.''

Speaking today as the workers in the Irish Glass Bottle factory in Ringsend left the factory floor in an act of industrial action, Sinn Fein Dublin South East Representative Daithí Doolan again offered his support to the workers.

``The workers have been forced into this action in an attempt to receive fair severence pay from the management. It is a response to unfair and unjust treatment at the hands of the board of management. What they want is what they are entitled to. What they want is that the recommendations of the Labour Relations Court be adhered to.

The Ardagh Management have constantly disregarded the workers rights and are again attempting to shrug off their reponsibilities in this matter.

The workers have left the factory floor and are blocking the entrance to the factory. They have my absolute support in this entirely justified action and I hope that the management of the Irish Glass Bottle factory stop ignoring the workers entitlements.''
