Flawed Nice Treaty will be rejected once again

Sinn Fein Group leader in Leinster House Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin TD said that the results of an opinion poll published this morning reflect the response that Sinn Fein has been receiving on the doorsteps. He said  ``we are convinced that the flawed Treaty of Nice will be rejected once again.'' Deputy Ó Caoláin said:

``This poll shows that despite mobilising the entire establishment the government is failing to convince people to reverse their decision of last year.  The combined weight of the Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael, the Labour Party, IBEC, the ICTU leadership and the IDA have not made the impact hoped for by the yes campaign.

``This reflects the response we in Sinn Fein have been receiving on the doorsteps.

``We are convinced that the flawed Treaty of Nice will be rejected once again.''ENDS
