Adams to attend New York Conference

Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams MP will fly to New York tomorrow morning to attend the World Economic Forum. The conference will take place in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York over the weekend. Also attending the conference will be South African President Thabo Mbeki, the US Secretary of State Colin Powell and the British Foreign Minister Jack Straw.

Mr. Adams will attend three sessions of the Conference.

Friday 1st: Poverty and hunger in the Third World

Saturday 2nd: Balancing national sovereignty with minority rights

Sunday 3rd: The Irish Peace Process
