Sinn Fein TDs and MLAs to meet in Dublin to initiate discussions on Irish  re-unification

Sinn Fein's TDs and MLAs will meet at Leinster House in Dublin on Thursday next (March 6th) to discuss the party's all-Ireland agenda, northern representation in the Oireachtas and to develop plans for eventual Irish re-unification.

The daylong series of meetings will involve the TDs and MLAs discussing issues of mutual concern surrounding the different portfolios they hold in each jurisdiction and to begin the process of formulating all-Ireland policies on a wide range of issues from healthcare to agriculture.

The meetings will also serve as a kick off point in the process of developing legislative proposals for Irish re-unification.

Media opportunity The daylong meetings will begin with a photo opportunity on the plinth at Leinster House at 10.30am and a press conference in Buswells Hotel at 11am (Thursday March 6th). The press conference will be addressed by Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams and Dáil group leader Caoimhghin Ó Caoláin.
