Call for change to allow people in Six Counties to elect TDs

Speaking in Maynooth College this evening Sinn Fein TD Caoimhghin O Caolain referred to proposals to appoint people from the Six Counties to the Seanad. He said:

``If there are to be fundamental constitutional changes then they should go further and allow for people from the Six Counties to elect TDs to Leinster House. Such changes should also allow people to vote in presidential elections and referendums''.
