Sinn Fein Election Conventions Held

At election conventions across the six counties on Tuesday, Sinn Fein ratified a number of candidate panels for the forthcoming elections on May 30th.

Sinn Fein's Director of Elections, Dodie McGuinness, speaking following the conventions said:

``On May 30th, by turning out and voting for Sinn Fein, you have the power to rebuild the peace process and to ensure that inclusive negotiations without preconditions take place. Your vote will also ensure that there is no return to a Stormont Assembly and an internal settlement. Sinn Fein voters will have a right to first-class representation and equality of treatment and a vote for Sinn Fein will help assert the democratic rights of the Irish people.''
