McLaughlin comments on tomorrow's talks in Stormont

Statement from Sinn Fein Chairperson Mitchel McLaughlin regarding the talks at Castle Buildings, Stormont tomorrow.

Mr. McLaughlin said:

``Last week the Unionist parties organised a revolt against the British government. They used mass intimidation and terror which resulted in death and destruction across the six counties and saw the British government caving in to their demands.

``It would be absurd if the talks at Stormont continued as if last week didn't happen. If they do then the unionist domination which we witnessed on the streets last week will be transferred to the negotiating chamber. The unionists cannot be allowed to one day walk out of talks, organise a revolt the next day and then the following day act with a ``business as usual'' mentality.''
