Call a complete halt

Statement from Sinn Fein Assembly member for West Tyrone Pat Doherty commenting on the statement from the group responsible for the bomb attack in Omagh last Saturday.

Mr. Doherty said:

``I know there is a lot of justifiable cynicism about today's statement but it is nonetheless the correct and only response which must be accompanied by a complete halt to such actions.

``I would urge all other armed groups to stop immediately.''
