ACTION ALERT

CALLING ALL ACTIVISTS

The Supreme Court refused to hear escaped Irish political prisoner Jimmy Smyth's appeal for asylum.

The decision means that the FBI could pick Jimmy up at any moment and send him into the arms of the British forces in Belfast. A decision from Clinton or Warren Christopher as Secretary of State are the only options to keep Jimmy from being extradited.

Sinn Fein is issuing an urgent action alert calling for phone calls, faxes and emails to the White House. Clinton can (and should be quoted by all calling) as saying ``there will be no more Joe Doherty cases''
